About the Role

The Idaho Falls Farmers’ Market (IFFM) is seeking a highly professional and operations-driven
Market Manager to lead year-round operations, encompassing both the summer season and the
indoor winter market. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring smooth operations,
supporting vendors, and keeping the community engaged. The Market Manager provides direct
oversight and managerial support to market personnel, specifically serving as the primary
supervisor for market employees and social media manager.

Requirements

Required:

  • Confident decision-maker capable of directing staff, volunteers, and vendors

  • Highly detail-oriented with a proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

  • A commitment to local agriculture, small businesses, and community-driven events

  • Must pass a criminal background check

  • Must maintain a valid drivers license


Preferred:

  • Event coordination or farmers’ market experience

  • Knowledge of social media analytics and trends

  • Experience working with small businesses or vendors

  • Experience in marketing, social media management, or communications
